I've been ordering coconut oil for several years now after I found the best hand-extracted organic virgin coconut oil.  This is the one I buy and supply to all my friends.  We buy in large quantities so we can get it cheaper.  If you can't find a  good source  of coconut oil close to home I can send it to you with a little profit added on for our work in ordering it and packing and shipping, etc.  Shipping cost is $13

I wasn't going to add it to my website because it entails too much extra work and there is little profit in it but several people have emailed me about what is the best coconut oil and where to get it.  Keep in mind that I make no medical claims at all.  I have used it in my smoothies, raw desserts and for skin care -- on my skin for many years and my family uses it for cooking and frying anything.  Coconut oil is heat-stable and the chemical structure  doesn't change as olive oil or canola oil do.  It's also a good replacement for oils in baking.  The structure doesn't change  in the oven so you still get any health benefits which is not true of other oils, shortenings, butter or margarines.

Coconut oil doesn't have any enzymes in it.  It metabolizes fast and people notice a lot of energy after having just a tablespoon or so.  It has helped many people lose weight.  It has actually lowered cholesterol for many people also.  It is a medium chain fatty acid not the bad kind - long chain fatty acids.

For the skin it's used as a great acne treatment to help heal the skin. It's used for eczema, rosacea and all sorts of skin conditions  including dry skin with many reporting success.

I play a lot of tennis and when I put it on my legs before I go, they actually look darker - don't know why.

Everyone compliments me on my silky skin.  I only use a fine layer under my make-up in the daytime.  At night I put it on my face, hands, arms and other body parts.  it instantly softens cracked heels and the feet.  Even the next morning after a shower or bath, my skin still feels smooth and silky with no evidence of the coconut oil.

Many people have told me they got rid of their fungus nails with it.

It's made up also of lauric acid which is one of the components in mothers' breast milk. 

Share it with your family and friends by putting some in little jars for them.  It's so great for hospital patients or anyone who is not ambulatory right now.  There are many uses for it.  Some friends put it in little jars and give as gifts to friends, family and patients. Everyone loves getting these little jars.

You don't want to buy the kind of coconut oil that you find in some stores that is RBD.  It's refined, bleached and deodorized-- this is highly processed and not able to give you the healthful benefits of the hand extracted organic coconut oil in its best untouched form.
