Wrinkle Treatments That Work For You Today But Beware Side Effects In The Future!

Some of the lotions and lasers that are sold in the marketplace today as wrinkle-fighting treatments or wrinkle cures are now reported to actually restore the skin to a youthful state getting rid of fine lines and wrinkles caused by dry skin and other causes.

Millions of dollar are spent each year by Americans, Canadians, Australians and Europeans in an effort to erase wrinkles, help sagging skin and get rid of other signs of aging. In the past, which of the wrinkle treatments work, if any that is, hasn't always been tested properly or rigorously. 

But now University of Michigan researchers have found various studies that show there are three skin treatments and wrinkle treatments that do help grow younger and more firmer skin.

These are lotions that contain retinoic acid, injections of Restylane or skin treatment with a carbon dioxide laser.

Why do they work?  The secret or answer seems to be that all three of the wrinkle or skin care treatments encourage the fibroblast cells in the deeper layers of the skin grow new collagen. NO-- no collagen pills!

Collagen is the firm fibrous tissue that supports younger skin but tends to break down as we age. Thus letting the wrinkles creep in.

As always, consider the side effects and adverse reactions that can happen with any wrinkle treatment that is not natural. Laser skin treatments have caused serious problems and damaged skin permanently.  Anything that is absorbed by the skin -- skin lotions and chemicals-- can also be absorbed by the body. So be careful about anything you apply to the skin whether it is for a wrinkle cure or not.
